Earlier this month, my family and I were driving home, southbound on Georgia Avenue, when we saw something strange at Spring Street in Silver Spring. A penguin crossing the road, my husband remarked. My daughter saw it, too. I glanced around but couldn’t immediately see what they were talking about.
